I was excited when I got permission from our neighbors to go down to their pond and try to photograph the waterfowl that frequented it. I put up a makeshift blind, and with the help of my ghillie suit, was able to get close enough to the ducks for some shots. Having never had opportunities at Ring-necked Ducks before, I was pretty stoked when I saw I got this shot.
